Stone Espresso IRS

    I like Espresso IRS. It's creamy & smooth. In my opinion though, Founder's Breakfast Stout still takes the cake by far.

    I like Espresso IRS fresh but i also think it could benefit with some age on it.

    What i mean is that it is very coffee forward. But think about the base beer for a minute. Do you really think a Stone IRS can be overwhelmed by any coffee addition?

    For me, this beer has it going on. I like Lagunitas's Cappuccino stout and love Founders Breakfast Stout. I would have no qualms putting this beer ahead of both in terms of pure enjoyability.

    Agreed, though they'd probably just put it in Quingenti Millilitre so people without "whalez bro" to trade for it can only salivate with envy.

    Dayman just hit South Florida, so I guess I'll be waiting a couple weeks for this one. Actually, I'll probably be out of town when it arrives. Hope some of it sits around...

    No, you should not grab more. Save some for the others that have been looking for it. Maybe even be a good BA and let the masses know where to find it.

    Unfortunately never had FBS but this beer friggin blows Lagunitas Cap Stout out of the water. And thats coming from a HUGE Lagunitas fan
