Doom....

Yeah, the next thing you know, some brewery will start naming their beer with a date so we know when to "Enjoy By"

 

Just picked a bottle up in the far west Chicago burbs @$14.99. A little more than I wanted to pay but I didn't have to hit up multiple stores looking for it. Went to a store less than 5 mins from my work so I didn't go out of my way either. That's how I'm justifying my purchase.

 

14.99 in Cleveland/lakewood

 

Where at? I'm in St. Charles. I was out in the field all day and didn't come across any Doom in Plainfield or Naperville.

 

Its already come today and I think its in the process of going now (but not gone yet)

 

Same deal for me in NWI... was able to snag two bottles at my local shop because people "weren't buying it". They got one case.

Picked up 3 bottles yesterday in SE Mich to bring to DLD. I cant complain for 12.99 each.

 

Plenty of stores in Michigan around Oakland county were charging $17.99.

I picked up a couple bottles ($16.00 ea.) ... drank one, it was pretty darn good.

 

I've seen at as high as $22 in Wayne County.

 

Once we start selling our case, it will be 12.99 in MKE area. IDK what other stores are doing though.

 

Went out at lunch to two bottle shops near my office. First stop, my go to shop, wanted $18 so I passed. Asked for it at my backup shop after not seeing it out on display. Clerk says to the owner "Do we have any Doom?", owner gives the 'good customer' nod then the clerk rings it up at $18.99. No thank you at that price.

I really want to try this, but not at those prices. This is where I draw the line*


*Author of post will most likely cave and buy at $18. Please do not judge him if you see him breaking out a $20 and weeping as he exits the store.

 

Called St. Charles Binny's at 10, said it'd be coming in today, went at 12:45 and it was sold out. Beer guy said there were 6 vehicles waiting in the parking lot most of the morning until the truck came.

once again, I can see party stores ripping off its customers and not a damn thing can come of it..smh

 

if ya want it, spend the 20$. its the only option. or drive around spend like 10-20$ in gas and get it for 13.99....

I personally would spend the 5 extra dollars to not waste my time driving around and the off chance of not getting it.
