    Awesome night with good family friends in town to see our newborn son. Lots of Liftbridge Hop Dish, Furious and the nightcap was a snifter of Bourbon County!

    Add that to good friends, smoked porkchops, and a chocolate pecan pie torte! Awesome night!!!

    I wait tables & do odd jobs on the side. I work 70+ hours a week, & beer is my only real $ consuming hobby. I mainly work at a beer bar/club downtown, but on Tuesdays & Wednesdays I work at a crappy grill & bar in the suburbs that I can't seem to quit. I put in my notice there again about a month ago but now here I am still there, only I make my schedule & make higher hourly now. Anyways a new manager was picking on struggling new employees & contributing to the restaurants problems instead of stepping in and preventing mistakes, leading by example & earning people's respect by out working them & showing them how to do things properly. Tonight I pointed out a 10 minute drink ticket to him to see how he handled the situation. Instead of jumping back there, getting the drink out & getting the bartender back on track he chews him out in front of customers. That's not management.

    Very nice IPA. Was definitely not fresh though(muted aromas), but damn tasty stuff.
