I have it in my head that Ass Kisser is contract brewed by Rahr. Am I right? The ones I tried were less that fantastic.

    How are those Nectar Ales?

Nectar Ales are great... used to be made by Firestone Walker... they recently sold it though, iirc.

Bad? Maybe not. Worth the price? No. If you haven't had them buy a bottle, you'll understand afterwards most likely.

wonder if that is the dr7 recipe? if so that was cary martin's beer. which is corey martin (the guy who won the longshot last year) brother. Both are part of the austin zealots and are great guys. lets hope so. as fresh it was a great beer

I have heard that one of the upcoming Bishops Barrels will be a Weizenbock. Maybe referring to that, maybe an Icon release, maybe something else entirely? I am very intrigued to find out what this is.

Anyone in Austin seen any LC3 around? Last years sat for a bit so i was not too concerned but having heard it hit a couple shelves here, I have not seen it anywhere. Did try the Coffee Ale last week - guess what tasted like coffee.

It is not DR7. It's a recipe developed in house.

Don't know specifics of how it will be released yet. Won't be ICON and will probably just be draught only. This is the non-barrel version of what will be BB4.

Still 4 bottles at E1G. Said no to the $20 bottle price - I believe last years was $16. Time to drink down the cellar instead.

I think I saw it at 18.99 at HEB. Prices definitely increased since last year.

I think y'all got lucky last year. I bought LC#2 in DFW and in Houston last year and both were $18.99
