Do you know for sure that isnt much work? Putting up the list may be easy, getting breweries to give you the information may not be. The only beer festivals that I have been to that does it, are the michigan brewers guild festivals. Great taste of the Midwest and Festival of Barrel Aged Beers doesnt put up a list prior. Probably more trouble than it is worth for a festival like this and the small % that care to get the info before hand.

I cant wait for the hate threads with all the high expectations.

 

you my friend looked too far into that, simply was saying the breweries could. they do. i understand multimillion dollar companies in 2013 most likely dont carry PR people.

I think I did it on this because of the subject. All to often BAs get inflated ideas of what beer festivals should be from the MBG ones, which are probably the best in michigan IMHO. Then they go to the smaller/different ones and then rail on them because they weren't what they wanted them to be. Often they are for charities as well. They are what they are, they wont often have all the crazy specialty beers.

I am done, maybe. Unless I get board at work, then I might post again.

black note will be there. bells website has a list of beers they will have along with "one other special beer."

 

I'd guess the other special beer from Bell's will be BA Batch 9000 or Roundhouse (or maybe Larry's Latest DIPA). The list is all over the map, but there's some good stuff in there. Wonder what Kuhnhenn will bring. Anyone notice the notable absence of Dark Horse?

 

Dark Horse will be there. They didn't sign up until after the vendor list was full and will be sharing a table with Arbor, I believe.

I'm pretty sure it's won some medals in past years at the expo, who knows if they even entered it this year, they sure did clean up in the mead categories this year though.
