    Founders Doom... swing and a miss! Give me Frangelic Mountain anyday. I grabbed another bottle, maybe I'll let it sit for a while and see if the bourbon melds better with the IIPA down the road. Really Bourbon forward.

    This is another beer that I picked up while in IL last weekend. I've been drinking only IPAs and Stouts lately so it's taking me a bit to adjust to the taste. It's pretty good. Not something that I'd go out of my way to purchase but definitely a beer that I can offer to my friends who aren't craft beer drinkers.

    I like your av , I grew up in Stillwater ,
    back when I was there craft beer was pretty much non-existent.

    I'm with you on that one. I bought a 6 pack of it a while back because I really like Centennial and wanted to try it. I had one bottle and the rest are just sitting there. I think I drain poured about a third of the one bottle that I had.

    Westbrook Weisse Weisse Baby. I love sour beers, Gueuze's are one of my favorite styles, as are Wild Ales, and I was blown away by Westbrook's Gose yesterday. That being said I don't think Berliner Weisse's are for me. I love the tart lactic characters, but some of the other components are always off to my personal palate preferences.

    Brooklyn Brewery , black chocolate stout & Omegang Brewery , three philosophers . tried & liked the bud black crown but for the money would rather have either one of the other 2 .
