The only debate I have about Little Sumpin Sumpin is how many six-packs to buy when I'm at the store.

For what it's worth, "wheat beer" doesn't really mean much to me. It's a pretty generic pseudo-style. Is it a Belgian wit? American pale wheat (probably with some fruit)? A German hefe? Just means they used wheat malts.

For Lagunitas, it's just an IPA in which they used some wheat malts. Not complaining—I love that beer. (I love wheat malts, generally.)

For some reason I have a hard time focusing on the text on that label.

It's amazing 6 pack when I want to save some money. It's great even when I have money to spend.

If they didn't label it a "wheat beer" you wouldn't even know it exisited after they made Sucks.

OP, I'm going to echo a couple of other respondents here and tie in my previous statement about how "wheat ale" is a horribly generic, kind of vacuous term. What do you mean, exactly, by "traditional tasting wheat ale"? Like a witbier, or a hefeweizen, or something like a fruited wheat beer?
