Only two things when I buy IPAs, whatever is freshest and I haven't tried.

If I've tried them all, then avoid IPA and look for something else.

In general, always aim for fresh. I've dont turned down tons of IPAs because they're old. Watch out, some stores will carry IPAs that are 6+ months old.

this.. two hearted hands down but I've been fooled too many times with old bottles to buy it without seeing the truck unload it.

Just grab whatever is fresh. I haven't had the Moylan's, but the rest are all excellent. You can't go wrong. Try them all in time.

I don't get why people like two hearted so much it's not that good, I'd go with lagunitas IPA or Hercules.

This thread has made me realize that I should give Two Hearted another shot. Thought it lacked balance in a not so good way last time I had it, but that was quite a while ago and it might not've been that fresh. I can't remember.....to the liquor store!

I have had too many bad experiences with the malt bombs sitting on shelves ala 5 month old Two Hearted that I stay away from it. I suggest grabbing some All Day IPA and Centennial IPA to mix up the Founders flavors.

Get some Two Hearted, such a good beer. But add a bomber of Hercules, really good DIPA, you have to try it.
