    OH HELL NAH

I think rather than communicating via text/actually hanging out we should just quote each other in this thread

From our interview with Josh at Flat12 a couple months ago:

    http://hoosierbeergeek.blogspot.com/2013/02/talking-wood-josh-hambright.html

HBG: What beer(s) are you most excited about?
Josh: Well, there is some Walkabout that somehow found Brettanomyces ("Brett") that you guys should try. We are probably bringing this with us to Upland Sour Fest (May 11th). This will not be part of the next version of Cuttlefish but will be released separately. We are experimenting with some primary fermentation in the barrels with belgian strains, but using the barrels instead of stainless steel as the vessel.
Note: We tried it and it is incredible. I hope they don't drink it all at the brewery before May.
HBG: Both you and Poff mentioned wanting to change the perception of what Brett can do in a beer. Kind of wanting to prove that Brett does not equal funky horse blanket rolled in moldy cheese.
Josh: This (Brett Walkabout) is what I wish people would think of when they think of Brett. There is some of the earthy characteristics and then you get the over-ripe fruit. Not rotten, but that last couple of days where you can really smell the flavor.

    Flat 12 Beers, via Twitter:

-Farmageddon: a black rye saison brewed to celebrate the end of the world. (It didn’t happen, so we drink!) Lightly dry-hopped and loaded with Rye malt.
-We Spelt it Wrong: a collaboration with Against the Grain(Louisville) and Flat 12′s Josh Hambright. A hopped up saison with spelt and a French saison strain.
-mUDDER Funker: Blend of two versions of barrel-aged Milk Stout. One aged for a year. The other with wild microorganisms and black currants.
-Funk-o-Dile Dundee: Galaxy single hop pale ale (Walkabout) fermented in Easley(Indianapolis) Red Wine Barrels with a blend of Belgian Yeast and Brett.
-Jail Bait Braown: Sour Brown Ale aged in Harrison(IN) bourbon barrel with tart cherries.

The distributor accidentally switched the case costs of Love Child #3 and the Coffee Ale. This wasn't corrected until later in the week so anyone who got their delivery by Wednesday got Love Child for half of what it really cost and Coffee for more than twice of its cost. So if anyone found Love Child for $10, they got lucky.

My father-in-law checked in to the $10 Muncie bottles after work yesterday. Store wised up, it is $20 now, and the owner was sitting in the parking lot listening to Diana Ross doing a mountain of cocaine with the profits.
