Cuzco's n00b BIF Hints and Hauls thread!!

It was logjammin. I figured it was him bc there wasn't a ba name but narrowed it down by location

 

Got back from my enjoyable (if ill-timed) vacation, and had these guys waiting for me:


Spent a fair amount of time unpacking everything (those suckers were bulletproof!), and gotta say, wittyname killed it! First, the big guys:

Weyerbacher Riserva 2012 (I'm a sucker for a good fruit sour)
Revolution Very Mad Cow (Had it before, loved it!)
Kane Brewing Head High IPA growler (tasty IPAs always welcomed, especially in growler sizes!)
Kane Brewing A Night to End All Dawns BA Imp Stout (looking forward to this one, based on the reviews!)
Evolution Nouveau Rouge (haven't tried, looking forward to it)
Captain Lawrence Golden Delicious (tried this a few years ago, super-tasty!)

Then, the army of smaller bottles:

Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald Porter (surprisingly hadn't had this one yet, despite its stellar rep - and x2, despite what the picture shows - so many bottles! temporarily lost track of one )
Weyerbacher Insanity x2 (heard good things!)
Captain Lawrence Hops & Roses x2 (definitely intrigued by this one, and always willing to give Capt. Lawrence the benefit of the doubt!)
Captain Lawrence Rosse e Marrone x2 (had it a few times, tasty, tasty!)
Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout x2 (good ol' standard-bearer, going back to when I lived on the East Coast and seemingly no one else was brewing imp stouts)

And lastly, the ever-lovin swag:

That's three, count 'em, THREE glasses!

Thanks a million, Dave - I know my rather skimpy wants list wasn't much help to ya, but believe me, I'm looking forward to downing every one of these brews! Bring on round 2!

Hey n00b's... Let start a thread just for all of us that have been inducted under cuzcos wing and start a sharing group! We could have someone from each region in this group that we all could trade with. We can call it cuzcos trade group!

I'm really worried the package I sent out had a break right before it was delivered

It was out for delivery yesterday, and I contacted my target to see if it had arrived. Around 10PM he said it didn't. I checked the tracking today, and there are no noted after 5:39am yesterday, and now the delivery date is N/A. Just called FedEx, and the only notes they have that I don't are one that says "not on van". I'm hoping that they just couldn't find the business I mailed it to, but I'm worried something broke. Either way, they're calling me back with more info.

And most importantly, my target will get their beer, even if I have to resend!

FedEx tracking number available upon request if anyone wants to check it out or has any inside info on what it could be.

 

Actually, now that I look at it closer, it says the last action was FRIDAY (the day it was supposed to land) at 5:39AM, not yesterday. Then when I logged on yesterday, it said estimated delivery was for yesterday. NOW N/A. Not really sure what's going on, and still waiting for the call from FedEx.

 

Finally relaxing after another long day at work...


First time getting to try Older Viscosity (Thanks again, Flaran!). Absolutely awesome.
