It makes me think more of Rohypnol than Foster's Gold. But yeah, awful muck.

And is that true about the Manics? I always thought Motorcycle Emptiness went to No. 1.

A pean of outrage at the theft of his favourite raincoat. He was a total bellend too.
But then again I always hoped that the Manics would do as they promised and fuck off after the one lp.
Pretentious sloganeering twats, from despair to dad rock in 4 lps.

Please pardon that guy he just hates the Manics

Which makes me wonder, whatever happened to Flower's IPA?

Yeah, the label says #53. Some sort of competition that SN held?

Interesting, but good to see Sierra Nevada offering that sort of opportunity. The beer itself was nice enough - supposedly contained rose hips/petals, though I didn't pick up much of that. Mostly aromatic hops, but there was a herbal edge to the bitterness.

I've now moved on to Piraat, and it's delicious. Arrrrrrrrr!

    Oh ye gods!
Shipyard's IPA smells like vomit & tastes only slightly better so I have some idea of the lurking horror.

So it's been raining for over a day now, non-stop. Time for some beer I think, something strong to warm the cockles. Also time (when it stops raining) to go to the bottle shop and finally give rob that beer I promised him several months ago. Definitely not finally coming in because they've started stocking Kernel, no sir.

Just finished a bottle of Inferno, nice with a pizza, but could have done with a few citrusy numbers in the hop profile.

Weird Beard Brew co Mariana Trench, a pretty good, hoppy pale ale. New brewery for me too.
