Let me see your Can-Cans Hints and Hauls

Shit man. This could've been the first post of the thread and I would've just crossed everyone else off the list.

 

So I packed up my box, built this thing like a tape and packing material arch of the covenant. As I rose to my feet to admire my work realized I forgot to put my canned food product in the box.

 

Cans and surprises aquired. (and food item, thanks to the reminder from BenTenison) The box is being packed tonight. Game on!

 

Hint #1 I'll be shipping east.
Hint #2 My target has already posted in this thread.
Hint #3 My target's box will have 2 wants in it. Oddly enough, the wants are the only two beers in the box not brewed within 150 miles of me.
Hint #4 The home state of my target has a coastline.
Hint #5 The state I'm shipping to is famous for this: ... .... ._. .. _ _ ._ _. _ _ . .._ _ _ _ ... _ _ _​

 

Hint 1: My target's state is NOT spelled with the letter D anywhere in it.
Hint 2: My target has not yet posted here.
Hint 3: Not really a hint, but I did some shopping this afternoon. Almost my entire fridge got consumed at last weekend's neighborhood gathering so I had to restock. And pick up 200+ ounces for my target while I was at it. I'm not done yet!
Hint 4: my target's county has an area of between 500 and 1400 square miles
Hint 5: My target's state is closer to the Pacific Ocean than it is to the Atlantic.
Hint 6: The NBA team that my target might be a fan of had a pretty disappointing year, by their usual standards. If he is an NFL fan and roots for the closest team to him, they didn't do too well either.
Hint 7: I am drinking a great IPA from my targets state right now.

 

Packed the box tonight while whatching Deadliest Catch, which leads me to...

Hint #4.
In my target's town there is a seemingly popular crab restaurant that shares its name with a popular brewery here in Minneapolis.

To recap the prior hints:

Hint #1 I'm shipping to a coastal state.
Hint #2 I'm shipping to a state with almost as many miles of river and waterway as Minnesota has lakes.
Hint #3 I've had 12 of my target's current wants. A number of them may show up on his porch.

Lastly, some box stats to build the anticipation...it weights nearly twice that of my son who just turned one. By my count I hit (7) of my target's "wants."

There's a brewery in Minneapolis named Red Lobster?!

 

Absolutely! It is a tribute to the lobster fishing industry Minnesota is so dependent on. It is located down the street from Waikiki Brewery, which is a nod to the many palm-tree lined beaches in Minnesota, Mountain Top Brew Pub, which names many of its beers after the majestic peaks of the Minnesota Alps, and Yellowstone Alehouse, which takes its name from our famous National Park. I would recommend all these breweries if I were not lying.

 

Hint #1: I am shipping outside of my time zone.
Hint #2: My target's avatar is a fictional character.
Hint #3: The state I am shipping to has at least one I in it.

 

Having a hard time finding a Local Canned Snack, anyone else.

Might I also suggest a CANned item. I looked for such an item a couple of days ago and mostly ran across CANning jars (you can find practically anything in a canning jar in Texas). I'm going to give it another go, but I think it still plays into the theme.

 

I'm trying out here in the 'burbs. I'll check downtown Chicago this weekend. If not, I'll go with a local snack and a non-local canned snack I figure. Somebody is going to get lucky with some Virginia peanuts, that's for darn sure.

Yeah. Been looking and ain't gave up yet but most local stuff is jarred and not canned. But i am still looking.
