Still cases upon cases of this sitting on shelves here in Lawrence. I'm surprised. I mean, I know we're close to the source, but the demand for this is pretty big and I would have thought people would be buying it to trade.

Oh absolutely. I'm a trade newb though so I don't really know the rules. I would totally trade it for some east coast beers we don't get here.

 

Same story down in Springfield, MO. Maybe the demand for sours/wilds isn't quite as high there as it might be in STL or KC, but it looked like they still had a full stock at the two liquor stores I hit the first weekend in May. It was pretty much sold out in STL at the time.

 

You wanna trade it for an Oude Tart so you can find out which is better !

 

The place I frequent in MD had them at $9.99 apiece. Picked up two. It looks like they just priced them in line with the other Smoke Stack bottles....I should give them a heads up.

 

My friend bought this since he loves Boulevard and he shared it with me. We both really liked it. Awesome stuff.

 

Dont trade for oude tart, is absoltuely atrocious. Just drink apple cider vinegar with the tiniest bit of club soda poured into it instead.

Has anyone seen LC#3 in DC? I've been waiting for it to drop and haven't seen anything :/

 

They're holding it at the distributors until the Big Hunt release party on Thursday. I think it's ridiculous because it's a limited release so why publicize it so much? Saison Brett is out soon too. Probably both late this week or early next week.

 

Oh wow. Yeah, that's a little bit ridiculous. You know, I guess I need to get out more but I didn't realize that the Big Hunt was so established in the DC beer scene that they could land that brew first and to hold up distribution. I thought they were going to have it at the Churchkey sour takeover on Monday but I was obviously wrong about that. Thanks for the info!
