Too bad the didn't have BBPt5 as advertised. Not that reg Pt5 sucks, but doesn't compare to the real deal.... :slight_frown:

I'm pretty sure they have BB Plead the Option which is Woodford Reserve. Just ask.

Nope. They totally did. Had it when I was there for lunch. Went back and had 1414, 15, Exodus, BA Sump town coffee stout, and CW Old Man from templeton. Congrats Local Option. Awesome event.

Damnit. If that is the case and the keg was really just regular Pt5, I am somewhat annoyed that when asking for BBPt5 they didn't give me the BB Plead the Option instead of reg Pt5....

They didn't have regular Pt5. They just had Plead the Option, as per Anonymous1's reply.

Best taplist Local Option has had ever. Did a 1414 and Fifteen vertical Today. 70K was also incredible

Exodus was fantastic but trying to pick between 1414 and BA Sump Coffe Stout as my favorite of the night was impossible. Oh yeah, and Old Man from Templeton. That happened. And was delicious.

If you want BA great palate cleanser among the BBA stuff mix in the Falconer hopped crooked tree or a bottle of the Mikkeller Nelson Sauvin Brut. Both are fantastic.

Interesting that you can contradict my palate and the 6 other people I talked to about this beer. Everyone all thought it was regular Pt5. But you are right. We should all just acknowledge your grand palate.

    I think they had BBpt5 and non-BA Pt5

I wish I could have stayed longer and tried others. I thought Exodus was a great break to the heavy beers as well.

They definitely had regular Pt5 as that was one available before 3. We then ordered BA Plead the Option later.

Looking at the tap list from the event that I took a picture of with my phone. The only thing they have is BBA Plead the Option on tap. They may have had bottles. But I didn't look.

BA Sump tasted like Coffee Bender to me. No barrel at all.

Yeah, I couldn't pick it up at all either. Haven't had it from the bottle so nothing to compare to, though.

I got to Local Option around 11pm last night and to my surprise everything was still on tap except 1414, 15, and Galactic Double Daisy. One surprise for me was the Fantastic Voyage, tasted like ice cream.

Sadly something was off with that keg. The tap was a shell of its bottled self. My tasting group opened one a couple weeks ago and it was at the level of BCBCS (better imo).
