Stopped @ a different bar for a Straight Jacket when I realized thru Untappd I was at the wrong place!
CW 1414 and 15 got my motor running to Local Option. AWESOME!

3 of us ordered BBPt5. Would have been right around 4:30. I had never had bb just the regular and it was not what I was expecting. I am assuming we got regular without being told, even though I never saw it on the menu.

I had BB for the first time at EBF and felt the same actually. Maybe not a mix up here.

1414 lives up to the hype and imo it's better than fifteen. double fisting them was an awesome experience. BA sump was all coffee and nothing else. exodus was great, really nice way to cut through all the barrel aged madness. really shocked at my lack of hangover today. really nice to see some of you dudes too.

at the logan theater right now and there is absolutely no one here. all the pours are 6 bucks too except green line is 4. paradisi is nice but not mindblowing.

I feel like Local Option hit me in the face with a bat. Now THAT was an event.

I have some company. 2 guys that work for Goose Island. Which whole foods? I would check the ccbw website but it has proven to be not so helpful... And my phone is a piece if shit.

Wasn't too bad. Samples of 25th and selling bombers of the sisters. I just ducked out to run an errand, then hitting Binnys.

I had it at DLD and I didn't even think it was in the same hemisphere as BCBCS. However, the beauty of beer is everyone's palate is different.

I've heard 1 other person say that it was a letdown to them. Maybe there are some bad bottles and we got lucky. Hope my other 2 are just as good. Smelled like BA Abraxas somehow, so fucking good.

Seriously. I was there as they put everything on and there may have been 15 people total (one being Brett Porter) in the bar area. I grabbed Baudoinia and Cherry Rye (both 12oz pours) without any hesitation. This is what Chicago Craft Beer Week has come to. Awesome.

I'm not sure what happened here then because when I was then for lunch at around 1:30 they said that the tap offerings were slim to none because they were setting up for the event. I asked if they had BBPt5 currently available and initially they said no but shortly after they were gracious enough to give me a pour once they had the lines going. It was definitely the BA version, and when I came back later in the evening they had BA Plead the Option listed on the draft list (Pt5 in Templeton barrels?) but no sign of the regular version.
