Yes I know I will probably be called a hipster for this. I don't care, one of the best songs I have ever heard...

Anyway, just finished a Saint Arnold Divine Reserve 13. Still one of the best new beers I have had from any brewery this year.

Slight change of plans. Started with Alpine Ale and now I'm on the Hoplar. really like this one. Slightly similar to Pliney, lil' more subtle on the hops, but the poplar really brings another dimension to this one...and the lacing- Yes!

Some ignorant shits might prejudge you as a hipster for your avatar...but I won't...that stuff is righteous.

bourbon backed by molasses, hint of anise and bittersweet dark roasted chocolate
the alcohol is a deserving flavor component, strong and pungent but not solvent, a welcoming warmth
the brewers have again demonstrated a competence that is exciting
    cheers

You do know only Young is Canadian. Crosby and Stills are American, and Nash is English.

My avatar changes between Sketches of Spain, Kind of Blue, and Steamin. I have been listening to Miles Davis since I was 5. He is part of me now. If it is possible for an artist to dissolve their essence into someone else just by listening and playing everything possible from said artist (though I am a very POOR trumpet player), then that someone is me.

Anyway, finishing up some High West Whiskey "Rendezvous," an excellent rye, and I am done for the night.

And yes, that might make me a hipster.
I had a bottle of Green Flash Saison Diego. Had it twice on tap already, but this one was from the bottle. Good, but I won't be seeking it out again: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2743/79767/?ba=fmccormi

Was anyone else expecting a light more character from this one?
