I'm going to a bottle release (not as crazy as Retail1LO's) this Tuesday. I hope my porch gets destroyed soon so that I can drop a hop bomb on my victim.

 

I'll be there also. We're both in the running for the next box so far. I'm certain it would make a great bottle for anyone in the game.

That should be manageable if you're getting up there early. Just leave some bottles of Brothers Soigné available for me when I make it up there

 

Actually...I'll likely be refunding a substantial amount of money. It occurred to me that I should see how feasible it would even be for me to make such a purchase. During any other time of the year, similar purchases have never been an issue. However, since this weekend revolves around a festival, there are going to be many more people up there all at once than is typical. So I send an email yesterday with what I proposed to purchase, and was pretty much laughed at. lol Apparently they're at like, record lows for all beer. I've spent nearly all day recalculating what's possible and refunding money. Oh well. Best intentions...

 

Yeah HF has had a lot of trouble keeping up with demand, their popularity has pretty much been exponentially growing every month. Last year they couldn't even sell all their 2nd Anniversary Tickets, this year they sold out in less then a minute. I just hope the Sunday bottle release isn't a complete shit show, I have absolutely no idea what time I should get there.

$1500? Holy cow! But then I think about what my run is going to cost with:

HF ~$13x10 750ml growlers = $130
HF bottles ~ $10x24 bottles = $240
HT cans ~$78x6 cases = $468
Lawsons ~$10x as much as possible = ??

Total ~$840 so far...

Good thing I can justify the purchases since we're going during my birthday!
