Brett served me my Rare. Very nice guy.

A couple of his minions did seem like dicks though.

He was definitely cool, walked up and starting chatting with me since the shirt I had on (Boundary Bay Brewing) isn't something he expected to see here in Chicago.

Speyside wasn't even there, and Templeton was just called Rye BCS. Some confusion around the coffees. I never saw ir heard anything other than Kenya, but must have missed them. On this hot day, Scarlett was the clear winner in my book.

Buffalo Trace was a little sweet, but fantastic. Boring at the end was really good too.

This event was great in theory, but pretty rough on the execution. I'll skip echoing comments on lines etc, and offer one suggestion for anyone planning a future Beer Festival.

Please list the beers/types that each brewery is pouring either on a sheet when we check in, or on the placard where the Name of the Brewery is. You could not tell what each brewery was pouring at "street level", only until you got to the front of the line.

    Happy 25th Goose.

Same, I got a pour from Brett he was incredibley nice and even answered a couple questions that I had

He said that his favorite BC was BrambleRye and that Bourbon County Barleywine would be released at the Black Friday party!

Sad to see that people complaining, I had a blast for 25$. 2 pours of Rare and 2 pours of King Henry + tons of other great beers, I doubt ill ever find a better deal

Take note- You're a whiny asshole that can't spell. If you don't like it, stop going to beer events.
