Just wanted to pop in to brag say that I'm looking forward to seeing all you suckers fine working folks this coming weekend as I depart Chicago in a few hours to head east to the great state of Vermont. Many surprises not mentioned above in tow, packed, and ready to be consumed, wrecked palates and all.

Sasuga, the just-released sake-yeast beer. And the latest iteration of their Farmhouse Pale. I will have 4 Oxbow bottles and 2 growlers with me at HFB if you want to taste more.

OK... things are coming together for me. I've got a bunch of empty 750ml HF swing tops from trades I'm filling with OR stuff (mostly tap-only) to share and refill for the trip back. It just so happens that a counter-pressure fill taproom just opened in PDX this past week, so most of these should hold up perfectly until this weekend.

    750ml counter-pressure fills:
    Agrarian - Dandy Porter
Ft. George - Roses on Roses
Block 15 - Cuvee Rouge - Flanders Red
    Crux - Impasse Saison
    Pfriem - Strong Belgian Dark
    Solera - The Fez

    750ml tap-fills:
Various from The Commons and Boneyard (likely RPM and Hop Venom)

    64 oz counter-pressure fill:
    Logsdon - Peche 'n Brett 2013

    Regular 64oz tap fill:
    Upright - Engelberg Pilsner

    Bottles:
Block 15 - Sticky Hands (the last two variants)
    Block 15 - Super Nebula (2012 & 2013)
    Upright - Fantasia (2012 & 2013)
    Logsdon - Oaked Bretta (2012 & 2013)

    The Commons - Maybelle, Myrtle
More TBD as I see how much space I have left.

I'm taking a red-eye from PDX on Wednesday night connecting in ORD and will be in BVT by 11a Thursday. I'm staying in Burlington Thursday night with a friend, the Best Western in Waterbury on Friday, HF Saturday, and then I'll be sticking around until Wednesday evening hitting various other spots in the area. I'm definitely down for sharing some stuff at BW on Friday night and obviously at the campgrounds on Saturday.

On Thursday, I'm planning on getting my rental car and going straight away to Waterbury for Heady and HF for growler fills and bottles (mostly for bottles, but I'll get a few growlers of stuff they expect to run out before the weekend), as I'm sure Friday will be a total zoo at both of those places with most people arriving then and no growler fills at HF over the weekend. I specifically booked my flight leaving Burlington on Wednesday evening so I could hit HF as soon as they open for a bunch of growlers to pack up fresh, and for any bottles left over from the release.

I'm looking forward to seeing/meeting a lot of you folks! I should be fairly easy to pick out - look for the wookish/beardy/slightly rotund dude wearing Oregon brewery/beer/festival shirts/hats all weekend.

Seek out a recycling bin near you! That's all that we ask  ! ! !
Can probably count on us wandering the campground with some great bottles as well. BA Speedway is a Hill Farmstead camping/event tradition at this point... If the kegs arrive from Alpine or Three Floyds in time, perhaps we'll share them at the campground. See you all Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

So cool to see how far some of you are traveling for this, can't wait to put faces with everyone, not that I remember faces (or names) for longer than four minutes or so. At this point I plan on staying hydrated and having a fun time, can't wait for this. We're bringing a lot of good stuff including a lot of Vermont stuff and all are welcome.

I am very interested. I enjoyed the batch of double sunshine that I got back in March, but a lot of well- versed people seemed to think that batch didn't "pop" like previous ones. So, I would like to try another batch and peril sounded awesome as well.

I am bringing tired hands growlers with me. Let me know what you'd like to try.
