    Jester King.

I'd vote Hops and Grain second. If they bottled some of the greenhouse beers, they'd probably be my favorite.

I like JK and Karbach the most. Funk Metal and RU-55 are tremendous, but the lack of draft and smaller bottles hurts them, for me at least, because sometimes I would like just one beer or one glass without having to commit to a whole 750 mL bottle. Karbach's everyday lineup beers are pretty much my go-to's and their FUN series beer have all been great.

Live Oak takes it but it's closely followed by Hops & Grain, Lakewood, Freetail, Pinthouse and Branchline.

    no particular order:

karbach - because rodeo clown, weisse versa and fun series
jester king - because thrash metal, OG black metal and mad meg
real ale - because lost gold ipa, sisyphus and phoenix double esb
deep ellum - because wealth and taste, darkest hour and double brown
live oak - because roggenbier, big bark and primus

    In no particular order:

    JK
    H&G
    Real Ale
    (512)

I haven't had much Freetail other than Ananke and I'm having more and more Karbach lately. I’m constantly making efforts to have more of these two breweries since I've liked everything I've had by both so they're on defiantly on my radar.

Real Ale would be my solid #2. I don't have a standout #3.

i think we've done this before but:
    1)Real Ale
    2)Jester King
    3)Live Oak
    4)(512)
    5)Austin Beerworks/Hops&Grain/Adelberts etc etc

edit: i'm sure freetail would probably be in the top 4 but i havent tried anything or theirs besides ananke

Man no love for St. Arnolds in this thread! Probably responsible for turning more folks to craft beer than all of the others combined and they've been putting out lot's of awesome stuff lately to keep up with the growing competition in H-town. The Icon series is pretty fantastic. (particularly enjoyed blue)

Having said that though Karbach is probably top of the list for me, followed closely by RA and JK. Southern Star gets a nod somewhere in there if only for the "Black Crack."

Really want to try the Hop Delusion, but I'm out in California for work now.

My favorite brewery changes every few days...

Right now it is Lone Pint, can't get enough of that Yellow Rose... Mosaic is freaking awesome.

Lone Pint and Real Ale for me

Nobody does barrel aging than Real Ale in this state. Lone Pint has the best line-up of hoppy beers in the state as well

I always enjoy Saint Arnold, sometimes they can make amazing beers, sometimes just meh. When ever these types of threads come up, I always think about including them, but IMO, they are just outside the top tier. Which is not a slight on Saint Arnold at all, just a testament to how good some other breweries in the state are.

100% agreed good sir. I'm really loving the Icon Green. So quaffable and easy drinking with enough flavor to keep things interesting!
