Cuzco's n00b BIF Hints and Hauls thread!!

Too late to get in on this? I want in!

 

As much as I'd like to trash Fedex, I've done 50+ trades and a bunch a BIF's, and nothing has ever happened. Something was bound to happen eventually.

I just feel bad for Daniel. He WILL get his beer though!

Are we still considering the tag team approach in round 2?

 

I'd be fine either way. I kinda would prefer it to NOT be "logistical nightmare", but I'd still be in it if it were.

I propose a tag team approach, but instead of everyone sending to and receiving from 2 people, we use a "play or pass" approach like Showcase Showdown on Price is Right. As follows:

BA's A and B are a "team" and are assigned targets C and D. They fill their boxes. Before shipping, A sends his list of contents to the moderator. The moderator chooses 5 bottles from A's at random and posts them on the Hints and Hauls page. Based on these 5, he gives C a choice, take the box from A "pass" it to D, and take the box from B sight unseen. C does not know who B is, and D doesn't know anything, doesn't even know that he is D.

Would certainly be a logistical nightmare, but would add a gambling element.

Just a thought.

If we do something like this, I vote that everybody involved also sends something to the moderator as payment for their time and effort. I could see something like this being fun with 20 or 30 people, but if we have upwards of 70 again, it truly would be a logistical nightmare.

I like the idea of a tag team with 100 oz to and from 2 targets. I actually dont think it would be the nightmare we imagined unless we had the whole group returning.

 

You can go ahead and try to set an ounce limit.....I will just ignore it.

I would be in for round 2 as well btw.
