Epic Brewing event at Churchills today

    Starts at 5pm. Here are the details.

    We will be featuring 10 draft beers and 1 cask beer. A Brewery Rep from Utah will be here in town for this event. Beers featured will be Brainless on Cherries aged in Red Wine Barrels, Brainless on Raspberries, Brainless on Peaches Aged in White Wine Barrels, Straight up Saison, Imperial IPA, 825 State Stout on nitro, Big Bad Baptist Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout, Belgian Wit, Hop Syndrome IPL, & Hopulent IPA.

    where is Churchills? there is one in SF....I love Epic Beer.

    I tried all three of the Brainless ales and wasn't impressed with any of them. Not much tartness on any of them. The Peach was good, if I had to compliment any of the three. But I would have to agree with all 3 ratings that BeerAv has.

    I also had the Baptist barrel aged stout and that was pretty good and heavy at 12%. Didn't get a lot of bourbon to it but it was tasty.

    Passed on the IPA's....wasn't in the mood.

    I tried the Baptist elsewhere. The coffee probably covered up a good number of the other flavors. Definitely worth trying, though.
