I'm going to say, "yes" and only because of your analysis of Jeremy's reputation and character and also because I trust your judgement because you know you your beer Mr. Fran. Did I pick up any Evil Twin at the Co-op? Ma-aaaaaybe!

Also got one of these (and would have missed if not for Jeremy).

Thanks for the recommendation, this place has become my favorite stop in your area. (!!!!)

Ha, unfortunately I've haven't been to a show since I got hitched in '08. I have seen them live quite a few times, though. Always impressive.

To follow up on the Pliny the Elder + Heady match-up: (http://beeradvocate.com/community/t...ou-drinking-now-216.91816/page-4#post-1348761)

This is what my glass looked like when I finished my 10-day old Pliny. Great lacing on this beer, and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. And I'm glad I have 2 more bottles

Onward ho! Obviously I moved onto my last can of 2-week old Heady. Almost done with it.. freaking good! But I can already say that Pliny is my favorite for sure. I can drink Pliny any day, every day- it's just so explosive in flavour yet not so bitter that I have to really be in the mood to drink it. Heady I'll take anytime but if I had a supply of it, I'm not sure I'd drink it everyday- it's explosively flavourful but being as bitter it is, its not quite as drinkable as Pliny is. It's more drinkable than Abrasive though.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that if I was given the opportunity to have a lifetime supply of Pliny vs Heady vs Abrasive, I'd pick Pliny 9 times out of 10.

Not really the hugest fan of this one at all. I like the artwork style on their bottles and am hoping the other beers by them are a bit better. Really lacking the man characteristics of good Hefeweizens.

Homefront IPA from Center of the Universe Brewery, one of the newest to the Richmond, VA market.

The head brewer at COTU is a former MLB player, this is an IPA aged on Louisville Slugger Bats. Tasty, and partial proceeds go to help Wounded Warriors. Can't do much better than this to kick of Memorial Day weekend, cheers to all Veterans and my fellow BA's.

I should be listening to sludge metal, but instead it's John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman and it makes me feel good so what the hell.
