It's going to potentially snow tomorrow.

This is going to be epic.

Not bottle share related, my apologies, but as we drink tonight I had to throw one last-minute plug for the raffle tomorrow: http://www.hillfarmstead.com/main/2013/5/14/anniversary-celebration-food-pantry-raffle.html

We are the fortunate minority in this country who have the disposable time and money to spend a weekend drinking phenomenal beers with great people. But as someone who worked for a hunger relief nonprofit, I have seen firsthand the need for food banks and food pantries like the one in Hardwick. And I know just how much these organizations can do with the money they get in -- they often can buy 5 to 10 times the amount of food we would be able to buy with the same dollars.

So bring cash to buy a ton of raffle tickets tomorrow. I know I will be buying plenty, and even if we don't win anything the money is going to an incredibly worthy cause.

    Cheers!

    Some highlights...

By the time the connoisseur session gets in full swing, we can look forward to temperatures around 38 with winds out of the NNW at 19mph, making it feel like a balmy 29 degrees. We can expect it to rain straight through Memorial Day.

We're at a cabin in Stowe...and it was snowing lightly this morning at daybreak for a bit before changing back to a driving, chilling goddamn rain. Today should be a blast.

I give mad props to the hearty people that actually set up camp in this shit today, and brave the elements overnight only to tear shit back down in this nasty shit.

I foresee many MANY hotels filling up any vacancies they may have had going into this weekend. Quickly.

The weatherman said that Mt. Mainsfield received some snowfall last night. If you packed your snowboard/skis, you can get some turns in before heading over to Greensboro.

This weather situation really sucks for those up there today, wish it was like last years Anniversary weather. The night of the Harvest Festival was terrible weather (pouring rain, drenched/flooded tents) but this sounds even worse. Couldn't imagine camping in this.

Very telling headline in The Burlington Free Press

Once in a Hundred Years Flooding (the second in three years)

I'm starting to wonder if this thing is going to cause more damage than we think

If anyone needs a place to stay for tonight, please beer mail me. My wife and I live in Williston, so not super close to Greensboro, but we have a warm house and a stocked kegerator. Rules: no dogs and no d-bags.
