2011 de muerte - pretty terrible, and now impossible to find
2012 cognac de muerte - very very terrible
2013 de muerte - pretty terrible

brandy hunahpu - no idea, probably very thick, sweet, slightly spicy and much much better than the above dark lords. Just a guess...

    Someone doesn't like chilies...:grinning:

Also, all variants Muerte Dark Lord has a much less bottle count then the Brandy Hunahpu's (new one).

Of course I probably reviewed them all as 3.5's... :astonished:

Anyway, was this compare/contrast about taste or value or how pretty the wax was? If the latter, I give the award to Cigar City. Their wax is the best wax.

He didn't say, so I'll also say the bottle art of the BA Dark Lord's are superior to the Brandy Hunahpu's.

    Hunah: Pepper is integrated
DL: Pepper dominates and ruins the beer

I don't remember the Cognac De Muerte to be terrible when it was first released last year (when I reviewed it) but this year, it's developed into one of the worst beers ever to grace planet earth.
