    La Trappe Quadrupel tonight. Not quite as complex as the Westy 12, but a decent replacement. Lighter in colour, less pronounced aromas, and less going on in the flavour. Same carbonation though and the same champagne quality.

    A lot less bloody expensive mind. I'm never going to let it go...

    was invited to perform my poetry at a swanky Chorlton cum Hardy gastro bar
    £4 for a small bottle of Punk
    so I took it that it was £2 for the beer and £2 for the BD glass that I was given to pour myself
    which is now mine I tell's ya

    It was however incredibly fresh, less than a month
    and this made it totally different beast

    Last night, bottles of Tiny Rebel Hadouken. Another great UK IPA. Makes me forget about that bottle of Shepherd Neame IPA I had the other day. Damned bland old school IPAs.
