    Went out to dinner and had a flight with ballast point wAhoo wheat (meh),Crossroads Cream Ale (meh), Dogfish 61(nice), and Butternuts Moo Thunder milk stout(nice). Topped it off with a pint of Southern Tier Live. Walking the dogs, then early to bed- getting up early fora trip to the Alchemist and HF tomorrow!!(über nice)

    Started at Dinner working my way through the shorts summer sampler. soft parade to start followed up with a pontis road pils now on to the bellaire brown. Not the biggest shorts fan but a tasty sampler none the less huma lupa to finish then on to somthing a bit bigger just not sure term

    17 Mint Chocolate Stout, from Perennial Artisan Ales

    A decent brew, but a little too "minty" for me - may just not be my cup of tea ...err, beer. I think the mint was a little too powerful, that it overshadowed other flavors. I liked Stone's (collaborative) Mint Chocolate Stout a little bit better, as it had a more balanced approach.

    Not that I won't be finishing it, mind you - heck, at 9.3 abv, I might even be really liking it before the bomber's through :wink:!
