Not ridiculous; just ridiculous if it causes you so much trouble as to come on the internet and complain about not being able to do it.

 

I think the ridiculous expectation is wanting a consolidated list as the beers are being trickled out via a twitter feed. If you want to know the beers right now, check twitter (there are plenty of phone apps for it that make it conducive to checking on the road). If you want a consolidated list, wait a day.

Jesus fuck, I just asked because last night I tried to see the current state of things and it was really difficult. I just wanted some place where I could see what's been announced so far. I'm not going to be sitting there pounding refresh, I just wanted to look at a fucking list.

I don't get why asking if one exists is such a fucking crime.

Yeah, they're really all over the place. With a lot of them, you can tell they weren't actually barrel aged. Seems like they threw in some oak chips and a shot of whatever spirit they wanted.

Rye Victory at Sea and Rum Barrel Three Sheets seem to be the main exceptions.

 

Rum 3 Sheets was the one they had at Barleywine Fest, and while it seemed like most people liked it I hated it. It's so strange.

 

I thought you were meaning as they trickled out as any idiot can see what was added from yesterday in the third hit on a Google search.

 

I have been trying to get this point across to my homebrewing dad for awhile now. He refuses to acknowledge it.
Instead, insists Abacus and Parabola taste like Robitussin, aren't within 'style guidelines' and are easy to replicate with "some oak chips and a shot of whatever."

Side note: You gonna be in Paso this weekend? I want to supplement my trade box to you from 6 months ago!

 

Question to those that attended last year? will there be enough BA Dark Lork, BA Hunnahpu, to not rush to the line as the gates open? I would like to start off with low gravity beers instead of the heavy hitters. But dont wanna miss out on these if I wanna try them an hour or two after the festival starts.
