An update to my English brews purchase. The clear winner was Harvey's Imperial Stout, followed by Kipling, Tally Ho, and Halcyon. The other 2 I got, I had before. Fullers ESB and Timothy Taylor Landlord, and there's a reason I bought them again.

Just had some Fuller's Cheswick Bitter, can recommend
have you had the London Pride or Porter from them as well?

London Pride and Porter...gave them a 4.5 and 4.38 in my reviews. If Fullers were on the shelves in my town, I'd be all over them. I've also had the 1845 and a vintage Ale but didn't review them. The vintage I remember being a bit odd to my palate.

Had planned on kicking back and enjoying this last night.....until half the contents of the bottle erupted around the kitchen. Washed it down twice and it still smells of lambic.

Centennial, Simcoe and Columbus apparently. I haven't had it for ages personally.

I've ticked a few World Beer Cup medal winners lately and not been impressed by any of them. Maybe it's the weight of expectation.

In Telco at the moment. No Torpedo on the shelves but sign says Temporarily out of stock'. Better be...
Nice to see the return of Alice Porter too.

Had La Trappe Quad Oak Aged Batch #12. Blend was 91% Bourbon Aged and 1% Cognac. MY favourite Bourbon aged beer so far, by a mile. In comparison, Brooklyn Black Ops was like drinking the melted ice from the empty JD and cokes gathered in Spoons.

It's reasonable better than the rabbie burns
but not what Scotland would want to fly the flag for them in brewski stakes

It's funny but the aisles of Tesco reminded me that I love beer & resparked an interest lost
    with being housebound

Ah the fair Aisles of Tesco! Much more scenic than the Fair Isles from George at Asda.

    Beer.
