Expecting to make my first 12hr trip up there next week. Does HF usually go a long time with no bottles for sale on the shelf? I was hoping with the limited storage space there and probably 4+ beers bottled and ready, that some sort of release might happen this upcoming week.

This is the first time I've ever seen them completely sold out on their own bottles...the Anniversary Party did a great job of clearing out whatever was in stock. I think this batch of Arthur lasted like 4 days. That said, everything they have on draft right now is, typically, awesome. Edward, Abner, What is Enlightenment?, Legitimacy and SS#2 are all seriously great beers. It would suck to drive that far and get no HF bottles, but you'll still get some good stuff.

Who knows, there might even be less people up there without any bottles for sale?! Probably not though.

Thanks for the info, I thought it seemed unusual. I figured maybe dry spells might be a more common occurrence over the summer. Looks like SS#3 getting tapped next week as well, so definitely a nice draft list. Hoping to still luck out and find a bottle on the shelf too.

From the website: Anna was bottled on 5/31 and should hit the shelves by June 21 (3 weeks of bottle conditioning... maybe less).

I would assume it will still be available on the 26th, but that's a little difficult to tell when it hasn't even been placed on shelves yet!

That would be a safe bet unless it is the weekend of the postponed bottle release.

98% sure it will be there.

Really, I think the only reason Arthur sold out so fast was the lack of the bottle release @ the party. Instead of everyone buying special bottles and a few bottles of Arthur, everyone just bought as much Arthur as they could. It was limited at 4 per person, but I know many went back for seconds.

Usually the saisons stick around for 3-4 weeks, and I believe before the 4 bottle limits last week, they were doing 12 bottle limits total (when they had brother and edith on the shelves, so 12 mix and matched however).

Either way, I wouldn't worry about a few days, you'll be fine.

So I guess since their first planned bottle-release got "weathered" out, they've taken it as a sign to just keep releasing things they way they have been in the past? Can't say I blame them.

Well, good for really local people then I suppose. Everyone else will pretty much only have a shot at one of those three (unless they have plenty of gas money and vacation days to spend).
