Im halfway done with my graduate program I started in 2011, which I will graduate in 2015.

Now that Im halfway done, Im starting to gather up beers for a "time capsule" that I will open upon graduation.

Curious for some suggestions for the best of 2011 (tough to recall these things) that I should be accumulating.

    So for Im seeking/have:

    100% BA Cuir
    Blighs Barleywine
    Abacus
    3F Oude Gueze
    Black Tuesday

Just drank a Life and Limb 2 tonight....very nice.

Also Lagunitas Sucks's first appearance stands out from 2011, but I assume you are looking for stuff that aged well from 2011 specifically?

CBS might have been one of the best bottles made in 2011.... But definitely not worth what it takes to trade for it now...

2011 Older Viscosity is drinking really well right now, could mean it will drink really well in 2015 - I'd give it a shot.

    BCBS.

In fact, you should keep a 5 year vertical to open at your graduation.

    excellent suggestions

    adding:

    FW 15
Older Viscocity 2011 ( I had 2008 in 2011 and it was an experience)

Also I opened the 2011 Cuir (25% bba to gauge the aging aspect for 2015 and its insane) if anyone sees this hanging around get it for sure

A lot of of those "best of 2011"s were best, in 2011. Bligh's b1, Abacus, Sebago were all jammin' when they came out. If you want to celebrate with something the year you started the program I'd track down gueuzes. Usual suspects - FFF, Cantillion classic, LP. Actually, one I would highly recommend as a treat beer that shouldn't be hard to get is Tilquin. That stuff is delicious.
