KBS is my favorite, and I'm drinking one right now! BCBS is also excellent and I like it better than any of the variations I've had.

KBS and Event Horizon (damn that stuff is amazing) are by far my favorites. Still have an Abyss that I'm sitting on from '11 though...

EDIT: By the way, will OB ever release a barrel aged version of Ten Fiddy? And sorry ahead of time if this beer is barrel aged...

And Goose Island is 100% owned by ABInbev. They could produce the greateast beer ever, but they will never cross these lips again.. Sick off their allocation quoatas and marketing.

Yes, I agree... for less than one year, In-Bev does own GI. You do realize that 2011 BCBS was probably made before In-Bev ever bought them. You do also realize that GI started the BA Stout craze? And BTW... it's always kinda hard to get BCBS and the variations. It's not like BCBVS, 2010 BCBS, BCBCS or Rare were that easy to get.
Don't get me wrong, I think Abyss is a really good stout, but it's a far cry from BCBS IMHO.

2010 was hard to get but 2009 and 2008 were readily available and they were great. I love BCBS and BCBCS. So is my problem. They were too worried about expanding into new markets instead of suppling markets that supported them for years and cut us out. Fuck them.

I guess I can understand that. I was living on Long Island until 2010 and it was all over the place. I was still buying 07/08/09 in 2010. Now that I live near Saratoga, NY... we didn't even get any 2011 BCBS anywhere near me. I did grab 6 King Henry and a few BCBCS and Bramble Rye's though. It's frustrating, I'd love to have access to alot of midwest brews (Surly, Bell's, Founders, Great Divide, Deshutes... etc) but where I live, it's just not on the agenda yet I guess.

KBS and FW 14 are the best for me that I've had. Had a Lost Abbey Deliverance last night...very tasty as well.

There was a thread in the Midwest forum where I said I will never buy another GI beer until BCBS came back to the shelves. I heard it was somewhat available, even though I never caught wind of it, and I bought a 6-pack of Mild Winter. That is the last GI beer I will buy. I keep my word. I wonder if it is us gullible Minnesotans or every old GI market that gets screwed over. Maybe it wil be 2009s new market that gets screwed over to support 2013s
