Growler sales. Kegs get out to bars obviously as well as their brewpub.

I got to sample it a few weeks ago. There were a few bottles at the Adelaide bottle share before the Firestone Walker Invitational 2 weeks ago.

It usually goes Hoppy Birthday then Bad Boy. That is how they have been releasing lately. Bad Boy is the best DIPA they make....hell it might be the best DIPA anyone makes. It is dangerously good.

Toronado had a keg of Bad Boy on when they had one of their Pliny the Younger events. I think I enjoyed the Bad Boy more than the Younger.

The background on my cell phone is the greatest day I ever had last year at Alpine. It is a picture of the tap list which included:

    Pure Hoppiness
    Duet
    Nelson
    Hoppy Birthday
    Bad Boy
    Keene Idea

I would have never made it down the mountain. Warm up with Hoppy Birthday, then do the right-left with Bad Boy and Keene Idea. Forget the other three.

I had a bottle that seemed a little off - bought at the brewery in the first week of June. I wouldn't say skunked, just a little off.

Just left the brewery after a couple pints of Nelson at lunch and it was as delicious as ever. All out of bottles of it, so I'm not sure if the last batch had some issues, but its tasting incredible on tap

I just had a bottle last night from the latest batch and there was something definitely wrong with it. Much darker in color and very hazy, and the last 1/3 of the bottle was almost grey. Flavors were way off as well, it was really disappointing since I love that beer.

By any chance, were you camping at Oakzanita? I have camped there numerous times and it is just 15 to 20 mins away from Aline in one direction and Julian in the other direction. So over a few days camping I always alternate between great beer and great apple pie!

Actually we camped at a place called Burnt Rancheria in the Mount Lagunitas area. So nice to be that close to Alpine.

Latest email says "We want to bottle “Great” but don’t have a bottler, currently looking for a way to bottle our Barleywine." I'm confused now.

Ahhhhhh totally forgot that beer was in 12 oz bottles. That explains it.

I think they have the capability but not the capacity.

Nelson hasn't been the same to me since the end of 2012/early 2013. That luxurious, silky aftertaste is nowhere to be found. Still very juicy and pleasant, but the beer does seem to change a bit from batch to batch.
