My take is that a. I don't go for Shaun's hoppy beers, in growlers or otherwise; b. I don't have enough people around on a regular basis to crack one until a group opportunity comes up. Meantime, c. not enough storage in the fridge to keep them all cold and in good shape until said opportunity presents itself. And d. I don't trade much. For me, all adds up to more trouble than it's worth. Does that make more sense?

Can the Bros please write a program that autogenerates this response to every Hill Farmstead thread?

Any idea when we might find out when Double Barrel Damon and Being & Time might be getting released? Trying to figure out if I should take off work next Thursday or save that day for later if the release is during the week.

There will be ample notice. We assure you.
Safe to count on many months from now.
Again, we can't please everybody - although we always try our best...

Yeah no worries, was just curious. Since you said before mid July for a lot of bottles I was hoping to know before the next release if I should make the 800 mile day trip since it's not plausible to do them all. Speaking of the releases, just cracked the first Elaborative #1 last night... Awesome.

I cracked a month old growler of Everett when my trip a few months back and it still tasted incredible. I'm with you on that one - not sure what he's talking about.

Same here, I've had growlers of IPAs 2-3 weeks out that may as well have been filled an hour before. Everett obviously is fine with some weeks on it in the growler.

Also, I've never heard anything but awesome things from trading partners I've sent growlers to. Somewhat recently, I know Double Citra survived a trek to California and I had a trading partner telling me how it was one of the best beers he'd ever had.

I just had a 750ml of What is Enlightenment? over the weekend, it was filled 15-16 days earlier, and it was still awesome.

Now all that matters is that Society and Solitude #5 was brewed again last week. Really, all else is irrelevant now that this grapefruity nectar of Zeus is returning to our lives.

They could even have it respond to posts that don't warrant it at all, like in this case.

Doubtful, Nick. I think my next trip will be Farmhouse Fest. Almost 2000 miles twice in one month may be a bit much
