it is one of their series of experiments, probably up to Wadesda No 8 or 9 by now. Never been less than impressed with De la Senne.

De la Senne Black in Japan and Black Sheep Imperial Russian Stout, two exceptional beers. Think I'll lay down a case of the Black Sheep.

picked up a few De la Senne when I was in Brugge a few months back. Zinnebir is imported by James Clay so should be widely available.

It was more your talk of Black in Japan and the Wadesda beers. But yeah, Zinnebir and Taras Boulba are easy to come across in bottled form, although as with nearly all bottles, are only a shadow of their draft selves.

Founders Centennial IPA, fruity hops in the nose but that fades pretty quickly to sweet malt. Where'd the hops go? No doubt they'll be gathering themselves for an assault on the old taste buds. Hmmm some astringency at the end...was that it? A decent bottled beer, to my mind the taste equivalent of a bottle conditioned best bitter from a supermarket if y'knaaworrimean? but nowt to write home about.
