Lyle, is the number of tickets released the same as in years past, or did it increase this year?

 

Got my tix as a father's day gift!

 

Just moved to Denver, grabbed a ticket! Quite excited to finally check this (and the rest of GABF) out.

 

Caution--you will be overwhelmed if this is your first GABF week, AND you live in Denver. I need an intern to keep things straight

 

$20 is a big increase from their tickets a year ago. A lot of people echoed that it was for a good cause, but if they're not a non-profit anymore, how do we know the money is going to where Pints for Prostates says it is?

 

Last year tickets were $100 so no price increase from last year.

 

Just bought my tix, and can't wait to go for the second time. Last year was my first time at GABF and left with just a killer buzz, thought the same would happen at Denver Rare. Found out the hard way, Utopias kicked some serious ass and spent the rest of the night in the hotel sobering up. I will be more prepared going in this time!

 

Yeah, well I'm pretty sure the hops have fallen off already... And this years batch of whatever is different from last years batch...
Did I miss any other clichés?

This was by far the best event of last year's GABF, no hesitation in buying tickets again this year.

Does anyone remember around when they posted the list of what's being poured last year?

This will be my 3rd year and I am excited. This event alone is worth the trip.

 

First time attending. Is it a madhouse, or is there plenty of each beer to go around? How early do people get in line? Thanks all

 

One of the things that make this event so great is that it is not oversold. The lines aren't long and you will get to try anything you want more than likely. The line out front looks daunting but once they start letting people in it goes quickly. I usually get there 15-20 b4 doors open and am inside at 1:05pm.

I noticed that the tickets say "TBD" under location. Any chance of this not being at Wynkoop again this year?

 

I hope it is at Wynkoop again. Has been a really nice set up in the past.
