They do fill growlers of DRIPA.....I make it a habit to get one or two whenever I'm there.

 

Thanks, are they pressure filled or straight poured?

 

Bottom-filled with a tube from the tap.

 

In all my times going to Kuhnhenn and getting growlers, I have never seen them bottom fill with a tube. Just put the jug to the tap and pull the handle.

Ehhh that's sometimes true. I've had a number of fills that just came raw dog straight outta the tap. I usually don't say anything when this happens though, as the growler will get consumed insanely fast around my house.

 

I used to think disorganization and head scratching at Kuhnhenn was cute and "part of the charm".
I am allowed to get annoyed and put off by this at any point?

Its one thing to have charm, its entirely another to be smarmy about it.

Weird. I bet out of 6 to 8 growlers all have been tube filled. Not surprising, I suppose.

Based on their response to a question (via FB) asking WHY no bottles on the 21st. "Because we are releasing them on the 22nd".

 

Not likely.
I would be going early Friday but since I can't go home with bottles, nor can they confirm Tripa tapping time (they said "sometime Friday"), I'm not going to make the effort.
However, if certain BA'ers will be in attendance at around 11am Friday I will go. But I think they told me it would be much later in the day.
Saturday just can't happen for this family guy.

I hope bottles of Tripa will be available next week. If not, oh well. They make other good shtuff to drink.

 

You asked a question and they answered it. Why do you deserve a detailed explanation?

 

Didn't say I necessarily "deserved" one. But it would be nice to know why. The tone was what I took issue with. They were better served NOT answering me.

How can one percieve any kind of tone via typed response on facebook? The only way you could really take issue with the tone is if you yourself read it in a smarmy way.

I dont mind how they are doing the release..while I would LOVE to pick up more bottles, I dont care as I can get them when they have more during the next weeks and it will keep people away who have no intention on drinking it only wanting to trade it (which I do as well)
