Had a couple of pints at Mc Nellies today after the Lion King. Liked Rough Tail IPA a lot. Loved the Great Divide 19th anny ale & thought the Mustang Dopplehopper was a mess...

I agree about the Dopplehopper. That was a huge let down. Maybe that's why it's not going to bottles.

The recipe was completely redone from what was put into bottles at point brewery.
I guess they weren't pleased w/ it. My buddy from the Society did the label (now just a tap handle)
They had TONS of cases, I wonder what is happening to all that beer?

    on a positive note,
had my 3rd BOMB! & I must say...
best beer ya'll have done thus far.
    True finesse through & through.

I'll never consider Mustang local until they move production in state.

I'm confused also about that whole thing they do w/ Steven's Point:
The labels for Doppelhopped (12oz bottles that never saw distro) said Point Brewing Co.
on them, but the bottles for Route 66 American Lager say Mustang Brewing Co. Oklahoma City OK
Does this mean that they are producing 66 Lager in State?? I just wanna set shit straight, this is
my own feverish curiosity here, as Mustang is quite the Anomaly of a brewery.

Will be coming through OKC this Saturday/Sunday (15th and 16th) and was looking to possibly to an IP trade for 4 bottles of Prairie BOMB.... since I have called just about every liquor store in OKC and all are sold out.

Have Bruery Bourbon BBA Bois, Jester King Funk Metal, Jester King RU-55, Jester King Das Uberkind, Saint Arnold Divine Reserve 10-13, and many other Texas offerings. Please PM me if interested. Just looking to do a quick meet up and trade. Thanks

So quick poll to all you Oklahoma Beer Dudes. What is your favorite hot weather beer? I'm talking about when you sit down on a nice 90 degree 50 percent humidity summer night, what is the beer you most enjoy drinking that is available in OK?
