Yeah, I don't know why people seem to be sleeping on the Elaborative. Out of the releases over the last few weeks that is second only to Prolegomena for me.

There appeared to be noticeably more CD6 left than MC1 when I left at 3:30pm.

Waited 3 hours in line but got our full allotment (minus M&C 2). Shawn thought the beer would last until tomorrow about 1:30pm, I believe he said. Really excited to get Elaborative too. Seemed to be a lot of that left. They kept bringing out more cases.

If you had looked to the right upon passing through the garage-door opening, there was a dolly-thing holding a wodden pallet with around 12 cases of MC1 left on it (in addition to the ones sitting on the shelf). Against the wall were 2-3 wooden pallets with at least 24 cases.

It sounds like one of the best kept secrets coming out of HF was a strong amount of elaborative being available for a good amount of time. Any American wild ale from the hill without a doubt "kills it." The smaller bottles made a difference in this one. I can't wait to pop one open and share with friends.

Yeah I truly don't get how Elaborative is still around. Love that beer. I drove up from PA for the original release, and got 2 more yesterday. Shocked they're still there.

Any guesses as to what will be on the shelves come July 3?

Clara and Everett with almost no chance of anything else. Good news 1) Everett is incredible. 2) You can get amazing growlers.

I'm not so sure...by this point, I feel that Elaborative #1 will be on shelves until the absolute end of time. If a release of two different HF stouts three weeks after the debut of Elaborative #1 doesn't wipe out supplies, I have nothing left to assume but that the walnutey goodness of E#1 will outlive us all. God help us.

Was told today by one of the workers to expect Flora mid to late August at the earliest.

Clara and Everett for July 3. That's it. All others bottles will likely be gone. Grassroots Arctic Saison should arrive from Anchorage in about 2 weeks. Genealogy of Morals is likely the next barrel aged shelf release. Mid July.

Slightly off topic, but what's the situation with Art? Are you still planning on making Arthur into the previous releases of Art and having Art spend more time in barrels?

We've sort of accomplished this, in a way. But original notions and taste impressions have changed - Art will always be partially primary fermented in oak and then blended back with older 1+ year old beer... and Arthur spends time in Oak now, too. But only a month...

I saw that Arctic Saison is going to be a beer featured in some Rare Beer Clubs. Does this mean that it will see some distribution across Midnight Sun's network?

The collab is with Anchorage Brewing Co., not Midnight Sun... but if you substitute them into your question I would assume the answer is yes, but it's just an assumption.

Had an Elaborative last night... kills it sounds about just right. I probably spent too much even without getting my full allotment of bottles but I'm glad I picked up Elaborative. Originally I wasn't planning on it but my conscience knew better.

I think I was just behind you and your crew. Over a 3 hour wait ... And I went there thinking an hour tops. Lol. I wish there was a quicker way for them to fill growlers.

That was definitely you then. Good thing the rain held up for those 3 hours...

Everybody involved: Sean, Denise, everyone at the shop and all other brewers involved run a tight ship. I stop on Wednesday afternoon fr growler fills and came back next morning for the release. All ran very smooth and the beer I drank so far was amazing. Thanks for all the hard work!

    Cheers!
