I think I read it is going to be taproom only and no bottles.

Dorothy is SO underrated as a Lager! It is easily the best Lager I have ever had and nothing even compares. Most on here rate it compared to other beers, but I'd like to see them find me a better tasting Lager.

Easy- Most things from Jack's Abby. Dorothy's is pretty average.

Guess what, Lagers don't need a dominating hop presence to be great. Dorothy's is far from average.

I actually prefer beers with little to no hop presence - ie sours and wilds. Dorothy is still average.

I am going to have to disagree with ya and name several better tasting lagers, Edeil-Pils, Hometown Blonde and Two Women. Those are Great Lagers, Dorothy is a good Lager.

Not trying to take any appreciation away from one of my favorite breweries and IMO the best Hop Forward Brewery in the Midwest. Have not had a chance to try any of there rare Stouts so they could be the best at that to for all I know:slight_smile:

Assassin was my favorite Imperial Stout ever, but I'm not a big stout guy. I AM a big lager guy, and Dorothy was good but not great. I would drink it any time, but there are quite a few better lagers just in WI.

Depends on what you like....for malty sweet lager I'd take Dorothy over all those by far...

My buddy and I got one each yesterday! Nice glasses; exact same glass as what they use in Red's in North Liberty.

How much would a new growler of Zeelander cost from the brewery?

I literally bought one on July 5th and can't remember at all! Sorry. $16 refill maybe...$20 with the growler???

Just a hunch, but Prospero supplies brewing equipment. TG has had quite a few tweets recently about " setbacks" regarding some of their equipment, so I'm wondering if Prospero misrepresented or lied to TG about the equipment they purchased to get them to buy it and it isn't operating or doing what they claimed?

Wasn't there just an article in BA magazine about why this type of thing is NOT a good idea.

What, you mean enter lawsuits? Yeah, nobody probably ever wants to, but if TG was lied to or misrepresented, they deserve to take legal action to protect their investments and their business. Good for them and they have my full support.

The article was about how brewers should keep the public out of their legal affairs. Public opinion has no bearing in these matters, and it is frankly none of our business.
