Worst Beer Made By A Good Brewery?

You may be right but isn't everything else in the 'winter' 12 pack available as a sixer except Fezziwig? Granted, my memory is not what is used to be but that seems to be my recollection.

 

Hmm. I don't think it's 5 of them. At least 2, possibly 3... But I don't remember ever seeing 6-packs of chocolate bock, black and brew, or holiday porter. So, I'm leaning towards just 2 of them.

 

Yeah I'm just not an IPA guy so they're not for me. The only IPA I can drink with any consistency is DFH 90 Minute. Sucks isn't nearly as bad as Two Hearted for my palate, but I'm definitely not a fan of either one.

 

Upon further review, you're probably right. Losing track of which beers they are putting in the holiday assortment any more. No matter, can probably start getting this year's holiday pack in, what?, another (sarcasm alert=>) couple months?

 

or worse, Sunshine Wheat.

 

I'm gonna say Anchor Summer Beer is not good and also Sam Smith's Winter Welcome.

Just boozy as could be with really 'nothing' to counter. I usually suffer through random stuff I'm curious about but I sent this one down the drain probably 5 sips/ 10 minutes after pouring....

FWIW Stone IMO is the best brewery in terms of offerings/variation in style/bang for buck/ 22oz always available etc... this is the one ***** in the armor I've so far identified.

 

Lagunitas Pils. When I compared it to other "hoppy pilsners" it just didnt measure up. Sam Adams Nobel Pils crushed it and Lagunitas > Sam Adams.

 

Stone Cali-Belgique was just not good, I had high hopes too because it is decently priced for a bomber.

 

New Belgium Red Hoptober. Their Hoptober golden ale was nice. Did not care for their red version.

 

Schlafly's Tasmanian IPA. Tastes like cat litter to me.

 

Apricot Wheat by Ithica. Super fizzy and thin, and tastes like apricot flavored Splenda.

 

I agree that is their worst in the regular lineup.

 

Strange, never had infected CWBBBW or CWBBIS and I've had many of both.
Every single Peruvian Morning I've had though has been infected, and thoroughly unemployable.

 

Anything "sour" Three Floyds has put out.

 

Golden Monkey is love/hate beer. Many love it, many hate it. I enjoy it from time to time, but don't really love it. However, it is in Victory's everyday lineup for a reason.....they sell an awful lot of it.

 

Pluot by New Belgium......personally was not a fan

 

Heady Topper by the Alchemist.
