Just moved on to a Double Trouble. Another fine Ipa from Etan.

 

testing out my latest homebrew tonight... 75 minutes of continuously hopped citra DIPA. it's only a week in the bottles, but dang it's tasty... i'll give it another week or so

Having a 2011 Marin BA Old Dipsea w/ Brett. Tasty beer that confused me at first but I'm starting to dig it.

Went to a homebrew club meeting. Shared a few there(homebrew and commercial). Then the rest of the night followed. I partially built a mash tun for my first all grain, but my hardware store didn't have the washers I needed, I will finish that job tomorrow.

Not very impressed with this one. Fairly enjoyable, but not as robust or roasty as I would have hoped for. Decent.


My Tripel Quest continues(I am at least over 30 different tripels at this point after getting obsessed with the style last november or so). Anyways..... This is really nice. Has a nice fruity flavor profile with apricot, lemon, orange, and banana. Nice clove, pepper, and yeasty spice in the background. I look forward to picking this up again. Apparently NH last brewed it in May 2010, and will be releasing a new batch this year.


Finishing off with Short's ControversiALE, I frinking LOVE this beer. I need to go buy another 6 pack before its all gone.

That beer looks unreal. Excellent selection in music. Gonna throw some LCW on!


I enjoyed an evil twin disco beer earlier while grilling burgers, now I'm finishing a 3F robert the bruce. I actually started my day off around 10 am though
