I saw IMWFCA and assumed it was a MW vs CA post.

I cant wait for some brewery to release Black Chocolate Bourbon Saison and Barrel Aged Dairy Lambic. If they were released by HF, the forum would implode.

 

I think BA would break at that point...

I wish we could sticky this thread here. When I was a trading newbie I would get so put off by threads like "ISO: DDG, BCBS, CCK - FT: DOS, FF, 3F"

Reads more like x86 assembly code than tasty beers.

 

To be honest, I think most of us are still put off by most of the ISO: DDG and CCK threads, but not because they use acronyms.

Also, I actually like the whole acronym thing. So it makes you take an extra 4 seconds to think, so what?

Saving time isn't the reason I like the acronyms.

I originally thought KBBS was some kind of KBS variant that I missed out on
Just recently understood KBE
There's one that is maybe 6 letters? OVWFHY or something, and may or may not include the symbol for boron.

On the other hand, I certainly feel a lot cooler knowing them when i do.

No, but it seems to be the most common way that barrel aging is done.
