Your new BA friends are out of the Midwestern craft beer loop is all...and seem wound a bit too tightly!

Won't be around for Lolla but will be for GTOM!

As a transplanted Midwesterner, I can tell you in no uncertain terms, this explains 80% of the issue.

Easy there, Hoss. It seems like you boys are the ones with your panties in a bind. If you don't like how we refer to you Midwesterners, stop lurking in our PNW forum.

Not lurking....just defending my turf. Michigan BAs are definitely not "douchebags"...they are probably some of the best people on here...next to Florida BAs!

Your other friend seems to have a blind hate for other people who want to enjoy the same great beer. That seems like a douchebag.

Trying to stay away from generalities. Not lumping them all together and not saying only people in MI can be douchebags, but anyone who is actively playing the system in order to manipulate it so they can have an advantage somehow is playing be unfair rules.

Like I said, I love Seattle beer releases. Completely the opposite of tightly wound.

Plenty left on the counter and stacks of cases as of 4:40.

Splax23 (Adam) is my all time favorite BA trader. We just completed our 16th trade. We just throw in shelf turds for fun too (Black Note, BA BFT Mead, KRE/KBE, HotD from the wood's, Bruery, Logsdon's, etc). He's the man.

If you are referring to me you are sadly mistaken. I actually like sharing beer. I have made lots of friends sharing beer at releases. What I do hate are people on this site making generalized statements about an area they aren't from or understand what releases are like.

I left work early, wasn't much going on there anyway. My receipt for $65.70 says 3:13:58 PM.
So happy for a chance to get a few more bottles of this; I foolishly traded away most of what I got last time.
Cheers to Bottleworks and The Bruery for redoing this one!

Oh by the way. I'm from Missouri, born and raised. Went to school in Indiana, then moved out here. Thank God.

That's cool. I wasn't referring to you. I was talking about the BA who said the Mi guys who keep MI releases silent sound like a bunch of DBs.

Well at least now we've seen just about how contentious a PNW thread ever gets. And it took a couple of Great Lakes BAs to get us there.

I kid, I kid. But seriously, from everything I hear about how crazy things are in the Midwest and Great Lakes I just hope things never get like that out here. We are truly blessed by the beer gods.

Don't blame it on us Great Lakes BAs. We were over here minding our own business when you PNW guys decided to drag us through the mud.

After having it at Sourfest last year, I feel about this beer like I feel about Abyss: it's really tough to trade it because it's so damn delicious.

Yeah, I think at the time I hadn't even tried it yet, and also wasn't really into anything sour either. How times have changed. I won't be trading any of these.

I was just at Bottleworks. There were a few cases on the floor and bottles on the counter. They'll probably still have some left tomorrow.

But of course we are in Washington. So that keg lasted all night. Drinking Kriek and Bottleworks XII for multiple hours at an outside table at a bar without a line was awesome.

Dumb question, I know, but I'm gonna ask anyways. What's the price? $20.00?
