Personally, I have been there alot. And was there last Thursday for the Tasting, so ive had it. Its great, but im Not the BIGGEST fan of bourbon barrel stouts, SO i grabbed it for trade to someone who will...

They're arguments both ways, I don't see me doing anything worse than the guy who brought his mom and dad so he could have 3. Im not trying to GOUGE for this bottle. Id sooner age it....

 

No need to justify trading by the ole "giving someone who is out of town a chance" BS. Goose stated it was limit 1 per person so if you only got 1 bottle you can do whatever the hell you please with that bottle.

Hey Nate or Mark, I know its sold out but this guy is willing to trade and since he's such a kind guy he's probably only looking for a shelf beer or something else readily from maybe another region. I doubt he waited in line for an hour or so for some sort of weird bottled commodity to trade for someone else's bottled commodity of equal or lesser value. Any of you financial guys see what the trading price is on CTHU this morning, I think it was 22.10 but I hear its bullsish based on this thread.

 

pretty nice release, a few of us got tan while waiting in line for a couple of hours....well worth it.....cool to see Nick going around saying HI at the bar..

I was fair and offered the bottle to the first person to respond... However in light of the incredible amount of messages I got, and my gross underestimation of how in demand this beer is, I will open up my second bottle for trade to the right offer. (please don't judge me BA, I'm only human!)

guarantee you I stayed in line, and was late coming back from my lunch. I was just looking to get new interesting beers that I CAN NOT get in chicago. But because of the amount of HATE ive gotten. Ill keep it. Age it. No sweat off my back.

 

Is it wrong to set up IP trades and not show? Not like I'd do such a thing...
