All of this buzz would make me think I missed liquid gold, so I'm in the same boat as you. It was really good, but like every other whistle wetter (including coast beers and from across the ocean), its not worth all of the jealousy and annoyance it has created.

What's wrong with liking sours and ignoring German styles?

I made it in the last 30 minutes. I thought we might have to call the whambulance for an entitled jerk that got called out for coming through a 2nd (or 3rd?) time. Instead of acting like a normal greedy person that got caught, he played the 'how come you didn't bust everyone else doing it' card for a few awkward minutes. Also saw someone else get denied a few minutes later while hanging out, good to see Chicago scene representing

I've had like 2 or 3 stouts in my life, probably like 2 or 3 barrel aged stouts.....This is quite far and away the best stout(barrel aged or not) I have ever had.

I think an appropriate name would be S'mores ..... Seriously smells and tastes like marshmallows, chocolate, vanilla, and simple awesomeness....

3 stouts & 3 barrel stouts.....you are as green as I thought you were (and probably exactly as young as I thought you were) in the realm of tasting/trying/fandome but welcome to the gang. Now just chill the **** out on these boards (as well as with the racist, trolling, and drug stuff).

Or they had it on tap prior....

Either way glad to see someone in Chi actually cracking their bottle, I thought I would be the only one lol.

Does it count if I'm saving my bottle specifically for something like DLD so I can share it around to a bunch of people, or am I doing it wrong?

lol....The sarcasm flew 6,000 feet over yer head....little slow eh
Fruet, Black Note, Cherry Rye, Coffee, and BOIS are all sitting on my table....
Don't want to think about how many others I've had....((Realistically, a little over 100 stouts I've had))
I've had Rare, Cherry Rye, Coffee, Baudonia, and others all on tap....(thanks block party)

It is absolutely hilarious how you think you know something about me, when in actuality you know absolutely nothing about me....

I have no desire to be anything close to yer friend.

I'm not going to continue the nonsense and this will be the last, but you said you had only three BA beers above, that is what I was referencing but that's an amazing collection of pokemon cards you have there. I hope you enjoy em.

I dont know anything about you other then your age, nor do I care to know anything about you.

I wasn't looking to be your friend nor would I want to, all I was saying is welcome the the bigger gang of BA beer lovers.

The world and people on these boards aren't out to get ya, and you catch more flies with honey or more cherry ryes with kindness, all I was saying is maybe cool down a pinch. I've seen your posts continue to disappear so I was letting you know maybe you should settle down before you get booted. With that said, have a nice day and glad you enjoyed YER beer.
