Brewery Cycling Jersey BIF: a.k.a. Who doesn’t like spandex?

Cycling and Craft Beer have a long and wonderful history and I would like to celebrate it in this BIF.

The basics: 1 brewery cycling jersey + 48oz of beer, shotgun style BIF

    The details:

1 Cycling Jersey – Has to be from a brewery (can be whole brewery themed, individual beer themed...). With the information that you will send to me you will also let me know if you already have any brewery jerseys so that we don’t get any duplication. Cycling jerseys tend to be a bit on the pricey side so I have kept the beer requirements lower. Additional cycling swag (hats, socks…) is encouraged but not required.

48 oz of beer – Preferably it would be from the same brewery as the jersey, preferably something that is nice, don’t forget to be awesome.

    Timeline:
    Signups through - August 16
All boxes shipped by – September 16

Standard BIF rules: established traders or give me references or ship first…

To sign up, indicate so in this thread and I will begin a private convo to get details.

Questions, comments leave’em in this thread.

I don't think they make spandex in XXXsexy.

how are you going to handle sizing? theres no real continuity between spandex brands on that either....

Good question, I figured people would post their standard sizes and when purchasing jersey's the sender will do a size check to make sure that the sizes are more or less normal. (i.e. I usually wear a large but at the celestial seasonings factory I tried on the large and it was way too tight so I would have bought one size larger had it been available). Make sense?

If someone in Europe has a Cantillon Cycling Jersey I am sure we can figure out some metric conversions

Not only do I love beer but I am a huge cyclist. Living in NJ I would also be hard pressed to find a jersey locally so I am really going to have to think about this one!

Yea finding a jersey is actually proving to be more difficult than I thought. All the local breweries sponsor teams (Half Acre, Goose Island/312, Revolution) but they're all private teams who don't just give out jerseys. Nor are the jerseys available through the breweries themselves. I see guys around with Bell's jerseys all the time though.

Just get sponsored by a brewery, duh.

But seriously, sorry to hear it is so hard to get jerseys. Here in Colorado practically every brewery has a jersey available. ¯\(ツ)/¯
