DESTIHL made it off the waiting list. Nice.

So being a first timer to gabf I got tickets for the Saturday "night" session. Should I be worried that a lot of the stuff I'll be seeking out will be gone before our session even starts??

Sorry I know this is kinda off topic here... Just saw a few postings here that got me a little worried.

BA says that they aimed at a 7% increase from 2012 in number of beers in competition. What they ended up with (for now anyway) is a 12% increase. And they had to increase number of judges, too.
Also, there's a 11% increase of "boothed" breweries from 2012.

You might as well stop worrying. A lot WILL be gone before the last session starts.

As an attendee for many years(8) if my count is correct, I almost always see posts concerning the Sat. night session. I know it's more of a frat party, drink till you drop session and breweries are running out of some beers. Will something like 2100 beers being poured, there is always going to be great beer available. I recall one year this brewery it seemed like no one had really heard of, DESTIHL, brought a great range of sours. They were the talk of the fest by the end. There will always be breweries that you've never heard of making great beers. Relax and enjoy the fest.
