    ^same vein...

If anyone can bring me a bottle of Genealogy to NJ or Philly area, I'll give you sick high-fives and add beer to say Grazie/Danke/Merci/Thanks.

I mentioned this to Phil, but HF always has the best music playing. Television playing when I picked up my bottles, Dylan, Wilco, QotSA, Neil Young, and the like playing in the Retail Shop.

Still enough Genealogy remaining for the first folks on Wednesday to retrieve. Phenomenology of Spirit, staying at same limit, should go a few more days... Arctic Saison also now on the shelves. As are some special rarities from The Bruery.

Agreed. As I was leaving on Saturday, Chelsea's Dagger came on. Thought the Stanley Cup was around.

GoM was simply stunning. Phenomenal barrel character, with vanilla and oak tannins matching the base beer sweetness and not overpowered by the spirit character.

Thought I should clarify why GPS is so problematic up in the NE Kingdom area: The way to avoid getting turned around so badly up there is if you use a map, you can ID legit local & secondary roads - which are excellent! GPS doesn't distinguish the difference between Class 2 (maintained paved & dirt) roads and Class 4 (dirt logging road, unmaintained road, and/or dead end) roads because no one maps them for them - they are limited or unusable thoroughfares. The driving up near HFB is not difficult - but GPS doesn't take into account that many local roads in such a rural area are not maintained or recognized for general public travel. Not to mention the fact that cell service up there, although greatly improved, is still lacking in some areas, often rendering your GPS useless anyway.

thanks for adding the two Bruery sours, I grabbed one of each and look forward to actually getting to try Tart of Darkness and Sans Pagaie. On top of all the other bottles we got my wallet hurts but our beer collection is much enhanced.

I see the website was updated to reflect S&S 5 kicked... but Genealogy is still listed? Safe to assume it will be there for the first customer tomorrow? If so, I will be that person.

Seriously. The barrel character was unreal. Insanely delicious beer.

The retail site is updated for tomorrow and has genealogy still listed, which means there are at least a few bottles left.

Anyone know if Vera Mae is going to be available at the festival? I know there's no indication on the site, just not sure if anyone had any info. I overheard talk in the retail shop the other week about something being released possibly the week after the festival, but didn't hear what.

From the info page...this reads to me like this will be released since it's also listed in lineup with the other brews.

This event shall also see the debut of the most recent vintage of Vera Mae (our dandelion/honey saison).
