Just got my styro-shipper earlier...working on bubble wrap right now.

Sadly, I had to pull one of the sours I promised you. The cork exploded violently from the last bottle I opened. The one I was going to send you is already about 2mm out of the bottle and it looks like the cage is barely holding on. On the bright side, I replaced it with a TX-made sour with the same rating. I'm also trying to work out an in person trade at a bottle share this weekend to either tick another want, or get some more awesome semi-local stuff for you.

You'll be seeing a few of these guys when you open your box:

Hint #8: My alma mater recently hired a coach who had also coached in my target's homestate.

Target: the total I've got is over 400 oz, with representation from all 6 New England states - as well as other beers because....well.....I can send whatever the fuck I want. Your box may even contain one of these...

 

Ok target, this very generous BA has upped the ante so I will be sending out an additional box that will be going out on Friday (because I have to wait for DDBA to land here on Wednesday). So you can thank this magnificently bearded gentleman for that!

Target:

I haven't been able to grab as many of your Wants as I first thought, because a west coast brewery that features prominently in your Wants, but distributes to Philly hasn't been on shelves over the past two weeks. I've found it strange. I do have a couple of barrel-aged offerings to sub in, though, so I think you'll be pleased. We're up to 68 oz of BA beer--three stouts and a barleywine.

I won't be shipping until the end of the week after I make a trip to my cellar to grab a certain Belgian beer that everyone defecates themselves over. I hope that you'll enjoy it, though I know you'll be happy to tick it!

Shipping South on Thursday or Friday!

 

I went to see a certain Gentleman about some beer. He was not on tap, so no growler for my target, but the same beer was available in a bottle which will probably work out for the better.
Good news for my target--every 6 months I get a check in the mail from a local startup brewpub that I invested in--yes, I get paid by beer! That check came today, so some of it will go towards a shopping spree this afternoon.

 

Target, just gathered up 263 ounces of liquid awesome, and a recent local anniversary glass (that I think is pretty cool), prepping to ship on Monday, average of 92 rating.

Hint: My state has more than 2 times the number of counties as yours.

 

I was going to ship my box out today, but I convinced my wife to go check out a new brewery that recently opened here. So I decided to hold off shipping till Monday.

Hint#1...I am shipping to a big ten state and it's not Michigan.

 

Hello target (yes, we all know who you are now),

Still waiting on the last two items to make the trek down to me, but as luck would have it a new collab-o-beer just hit shelves and I picked one up for you.

I have a 12-bottle shipper with your name on it and one too many items to fit in it...looks like I'll have to get crafty.

Here's a little pre-**** for you guys. If my count is correct, I'm just shy of 300oz including some of the homebrew you may see in the background.

 

Awaiting one more bottle incoming from a trade and I should be ready to ship Monday, Tuesday at the latest. Going to top out at 403 oz and handful of wants.

Target: today at the locals farmers market I picked up a bag of freshly roasted coffee, roasted locally. I will be adding in some other swag items tommorow after I pick some glass up after lunch at my favorite local brewery that barely distros outside of Michigan. You will also be getting a beer from them that was brewed in collab with a brewery known for doing a lot of collab. They must have a lot of faith in collabs.

I never thought I would feel bad about sending out 300+ ounces of beer, but somehow, I do now. So let me apologize. Sorry target, you're "only" getting 334 ozs. If it makes you feel better, you wanted saisons and sours and that's mainly what you are getting minus a few exceptions that are actual wants and locals that I like. If you don't like my locals, tough shit, because I'm shipping whatever the fuck I want to.

 

I know what you mean. I entirely expected a standard BIF with the generous few hitting the 200 mark. I had to up my ante real quick, never thought I'd be shipping 400+ oz. My wife is going to literally murder me with a knife to my face.
